BOYLE
|
1939 To 1950. I am searching for information on Percival Boyle.
He received a commission to India in 1939 and was a 2nd Lieu in the 11th Battalion (regiment not known). He married Muriel
George in Madras and they had a daughter, Patricia. Unfortunately, Muriel died when Patricia was only 5 years
old. I believe Percival tried to contact his daughter in Calcutta in about 1947 (soon after Muriel's death) but did not manage
to meet her. She would like to know what happened to him. We know that he rose to the rank of captain. Army list at the British
Library state that he went to India in 1939 but after that the trail goes cold.
