BARTRAM
|
Bengal 1872 to 1947 and probably before. Researching the family of Margaret Elizabeth BARTRAM. She married
Daniel B HENWOOD in 1892 but he apparently abandoned her and she was considered to be a widow when she married
Robert George Donald ATKINSON in 1904. They had two sons -- John Niels and Terrence Clive who was my husband's
father. He was close to his cousins while in India and kept in touch with them in the UK when he moved to Australia. Two of
Margaret's sisters married two of RGDA's brothers. Ellen Mary BARTRAM married Alexander Sydney ATKINSON
and Sarah Caroline BARTRAM (or MONRO?) apparently married Allen John ATKINSON.
RGDA was my husband's father and I am trying to trace the family arrival and history in India + trace and contact descendants
in the UK. Have lost touch since the death of my father in law. Also researching ATKINSON, BENNETT,
